I think funkietoo imparts great wisdom here. I lived in San Clemente CA in a new development which bordered a huge National “Forest” (I place in quotes as no trees in site). The forest was home to large groups of coyotes (rattle snakes, tarantulas (true!), deer, skunks…). Allowing one’s cat outside was a 100% certain death sentence. Sadly I saw 4 or 5 cats locked in the mouths of prancing coyotes and once a small dog. :o(((
In the Arroyos and Seola and throughout WS there are more and more coyote families and soon the odds of losing a loved pet will increase exponentially. it’s more humane to create protected outdoor worlds for your cats…safe from harm. Thanks for the reminder Funkietoo.
