I was so obsessed after my friend gave me the first book, I broke down and purchased all subsequent books (couldn’t wait for them to become available from my friends).

TraciMemberI need to get my borrowed ones back to the bff…. but be prepared to have your mind BLOWN!
When I finished Breaking Dawn (eeeh in one day) I cried because it was over. It’s kind of embarrassing but obviously I’m over it because I’m sharing it with all of West Seattle.
Girl just buy them. It’s worth it.

Looking forward to the adventure continuing and enjoying the series since the weather has been so bad this winter been nice to curl up with a good books.

I read the first 200 pages of the first twilight book, and had to put it down. I have read some godawful crap in my 50 years of reading, but this was one of the few I could not pick back up again.
I have had people tell me it got better after the first 200 pages, but that is just inexcusable for either a writer or an editor.

AnonymousInactiveIt’s light-reading/easy/entertainment (which is why it’s geared toward the adolescent crowd).
If you’re looking for more than that, Twilight isn’t for you.
I don’t think anyone is reading this series in an attempt to feel/look/appear intelligent.
It’s plain old FUN.

I’m on Eclipse for the second time… amazing… and Breaking Dawn is just uhhh… well… let’s discuss once everyone has read it. lol!

RSMemberI was conflicted about reading these books. I didn’t think they sent very affirming messages to young girls and I agree with Ken that Meyer is not a good writer. So because I didn’t want to support her but I was still curious, I bit torrented the books in PDF and read them on my iphone. Sorry if that offends anyone. :)
