Bird seeking Peeps! Barista and Food Prep positions…

Our 16+ year old neighborhood cafe is seeking experienced, hard working staff! Our expanded Cafe needs peeps with some good food service prep and barista skills for a challenging and fun environment.

Applicant must demonstrate:

FOOD PREP and/or ESPRESSO experience (one position each, unless you’re a rock star and can do it all!)
A desire to work with the public and willingness to create and present absolute perfection
A strong work ethic-including being VERY detail oriented, self-motivated and thorough in all tasks undertaken
A sense of humor, friendly/outgoing disposition and a genuine interest in people and food
Reliable transportation
Good communication skills (customers/staff/management)
A friendly and professional, “business first” demeanor
Appreciation of green/sustainable/local social practices
Extensive knowledge of coffee and safe food service/handling including SCKHD and WSLCB requirements
Ability to multitask effectively-keeping focused and task minded in a busy setting…
