Bennie & Alex Are Looking For A Loving Home–(Their Human Died)

Bennie & Alex are two lover boy cats whose owner died a 4-5 months ago. As their foster mom, I can tell you they are two of the most wonderful cats I have ever rescued: affectionate, loving, laid back, and both give their own special kisses.

Alex is a Type II Diabetic, which is COMPLETELY controlled through his all wet food, high protein diet. He has been off insulin since end of August and maintaining a normal blood glucose level

Kitty Harbor is letting them show off their wonderful personalities Dec 11th & 12th, and if not adopted this weekend, again next weekend. (Thank you Delyn!) They will have their own adoption paperwork from me, and the adoption fee will be donated to Kitty Harbor.

Bennie is a medium to long haired, ten year young boy and Alex is a short haired, seven year young, big boy. They are both white and black.

The boys did very well at Kitty Harbor and will be back next weekend. Everyone liked them and they got lots of attention. If you are looking for two the nicest adults cats, please stop by to see them Dec 18th & 19th.

funkietoo — do you have more details on the boys? Indoor/outdoor? Good with kids or not? Good with dogs? I’m hoping to adopt soon, but do have small children and know lots of cats don’t like small children! Nor do lots of adults :) !

Hi Jissy. Thank you for your questions and for wanting to adopt (not shop!) ;0)

I believe they were indoor only kitties, with no dogs–which does not mean they would not get along with a dog.

They lived with a woman in her early sixties, so not sure about exposure to small children, however, generally recommend adult cats over kittens for small children. Since they will be at Kitty Harbor again next week, they could certainly be introduced to the children and see how they all do together. The boys are very loving and Bennie is especially outgoing; Alex is takes a little more time to get to know you, however, he loves to play, so might be quite charmed by children that will play with him.
