I just joined the WS Anytime fitness after shopping around for a while for several reasons: I am on a budget, I require an elliptical, I like to work out late at night in a secure location, It’s RIGHT across the street!

I finally got the husband to join this gym with me only because they just started doing month to month. We shopped around a little in WS and this was overall the least expensive option for our (my) requirements (yes, it beat Snap Fitness).

    Initial review of this gym:

-Pro: Friendly staff that aren’t there 24 hours (yay privacy!)

-Pro: All new equipment since this is a new location.

-Pro: Decent array of workout equipment including: treadmills, ellipticals, free weights, ballance and weight balls, 2 row machines, and weight machines of every kind (I think).

-Pro: Excellent security system and first aid visible.

-Con: Only 1 weight bench. My husband is concerned about that

-Con: There aren’t any lockers. They do have open cubbies though…so don’t bring any valuables (wallet?) I guess?

-Con!!!: The guy that gave me my scheduled “tour” of the gym spent the entire time aggressively sales pitching himself as a the personal trainer. Even after several attempts to firmly decline he did not get the message and would not stop harassing me. If you want a tour here is my suggestion : get it at the beginning when you actually sign with the girl (can’t remember her name). DO NOT schedule the “tour”. It was almost a complete waste of my time and I did not appreciate the extreem pushy attitide and the approach of trying to make me feel bad about my body image to get more money out of me. It also bothered me that this “personal trainer” produced no credentials and did not ask any important medical questions.
