He was in a coma recently. The family came to his bedside and sang Bee Gee songs to him in the hospital. He awoke and went home. They discovered he had cancer. A lot of notable people are dying this year. Now they can sing Too Much Heaven at his eulogy.
I can understand the confusion, but in the opposite way. Many times over the last few years, when I’m reminded that Andy had passed, I think “Oh, yeah, that’s right! I forgot he’d died!“
