When connecting circuits connect the ground first, neutral second and the hot leg last, disconnecting circuits is the reverse order.

Back up all your important data on your computer’s hard drive. Do it NOW! That drive could go at any second and your pictures of mom will be gone. :(
Take photos of your driver’s license, passport, and other documents before going on a vacation. Store them in a safe (digital) place.
Encourage your children to learn a second language. Studies show it increases many abilities later in life.
In arguments with your SO, let the small things go.
Start a savings account if you haven’t already. Put 10% of your income into it.
Exercise a little every day and avoid too many fatty foods.
