JustSarahParticipant…But I thought it was those photos. You say “these,” so I say “those,” right?

austinMemberWest of California Admiral Way drops off into an endless void. To gaze into it will result in madness as the human brain cannot truly comprehend infinity; your only chance is to drive head on as fast as you can and hope to tear through to the other side.
If fireplug62’s photo had a little more time for exposure it would look something like this.

KBearParticipantThat’s quite a pothole.

TraciMemberFireplug, I’m pretty sure I know what picture you’re trying to post… We drove by it last night and stopped our car to look at it!!! WHAT A MESS!

TraciMemberJRamels, that’s the mess I was thinking about. Seems that the unfortunate car under the Volvo was hit hard from behind. The Volvo looked untouched except for being lifted. Crazy!

JRamelsMemberYeah, it must have been a huge crash! and a heavy vehicle going very fast to exert that much force! Someone got a big surprise when they woke up this morning.

mpentoParticipantI not sure if it is the same as the fauntleroy junction west of California but I suspect it is. They finally made the right lane a turn only except for buses. I think that is much better. It does seem to be an accomadation to the buses so they can stop after the intersection and not hold up traffic in the intersection. The same thing happens at Delridge and Andover and at 35th and roxbury etc etc. For some reason drivers think that zipping past on the inside to get ahead of you is how merging works. Good now that we have drawn attention to the problem looks like its fixed. No wait wait I see a damn prius driver trying to sneak past me on the inside let me just narrow the lane here a bit and glare. OK my range rover wins! Woo hoo.

hooper1961Memberactually it is a 5-lane street w/o California that turns into a 3-lane street as you head west.

Genesee HillParticipantmpento:
Yes, it is similar to Fauntleroy west of California; and I agree changing the right lane to right turn only was a big improvement.

LenaParticipantWow that is the same spot that my car got killed a little less than a year ago.

At least the driver had very good insurance.
