the problem with peers when it comes to traffic engineering is that they are all traffic engineers whose priority is to keep traffic moving…
not neighbors who are trying to live in peaceful coexistence with those drivers who road rage over a 5 mph decrease in the speed limit.

may i suggest the stretch of admiral from the top of the hill to the bottom with a side trip into the neighborhoods that interact daily with the traffic?

I also think 35mph is too fast for the steady stream of traffic on 35th st that those who live there have to interact with daily even though i have a difficult time keeping to that speed limit too…
it’s dangerous to be a pedestrian these days.. but equally dangerous some days to simply pull out of your driveway.
