I saw Wes Clark speak at Microsoft a few years ago. I knew next to nothing about him, but he knocked my socks off! Intelligent, articulate, knowledgeable, personable, experienced. I assume we’re all joking around about “cute,” JoB! But Clark is a silver fox, regardless.
I remember when the Republicans picked schmucky Dan Quayle as the VP choice, with the dopey rationale that women would vote for an “attractive” man. Ha!
Some classic Quayle-isms:
“Welcome to President Bush, Mrs. Bush, and my fellow astronauts.”
“What a waste it is to lose one’s mind. Or not to have a mind is being very wasteful. How true that is.”
“Republicans understand the importance of bondage between a mother and child.”
