I agree. Except take it further. ALL churches need to be taxed. It’s too complicated knowing if they are or aren’t involved with politics. Liberals think its just conservative churches involved, and vice versa. They are all involved (except for a few nice law-abiding ones). Liberal churches that I’ve observed, are all into get out the vote for marriage equality for one thing, and conservatives churches are into the exact opposite.
Too bad for the few law-abiding churches. Unless someone else has a better idea how to selectively assign tax exemption to religious organizations?
