I watched just clips of it. I was disheartened to see Obama continue to be put through the ringer on manufactured, unimportant issues.
He must have an incredible amount of patience and dignity–honestly, how he has handled this stuff speaks so highly of his character. I wonder if in private times with his very close friends, he vents at the ridiculousness, pettiness, and general mean-spiritedness of the whole campaign process. I sure as heck would.
I think the difference is that Hillary seems to love it, seems to thrive on the drama and competitiveness of it—a born politician to the end. Obama seems to simply endure it.
