Thank you hammerhead for starting gregsalmon’s own thread on the subject. As hammerhead states, cooperation from neighbors has been short-lived. This coupled with the man who feeds in the middle of the night and won’t cooperate by not feeding for a few days, and the “hermit” mid-block on 42nd SW who feeds on his deck and seems to pull the cats into his house when he senses traps, makes it nearly impossible to do any TNR work. I did work with a nice man from one of the apartment buildings, last summer. We caught two older kittens. One was neutered, eartipped, and released and the other was spayed and put into a barn home with a cat left at Nickelsville, after attempts to socialize her failed.
