Many people use a streaming device to replace cable, while only paying for internet access. I use an AppleTV ($84 on Amazon right now); with it you can watch Netflix and other services, and stream from your computer to your TV. Roku is another popular device. If you have Amazon Prime, you may be able to stream it from your phone or tablet. I haven’t had cable TV for over 2 years and I’m more than content with what I can download and stream.
Another option is to use an antenna to pick up actual broadcast TV (in high-def, even!). You’re limited to local stations, but it is free.
