This is good to hear. But you were lucky it was friendly. I would never get out of my car for a war of words. You never know what psychos are out there…I read about an incident a few months ago where an older man got out of his car to apologize to another driver, and the dude hit the older gent in the chest with a hammer. Scary.

I was victim of a road rage incident in the Junction the other day..I was turning left into the lot just north of Alaska, by QFC, and a man behind me apparently didn’t want to wait for me to turn, and was frustrated he couldn’t get around me due to construction vehicles. Even though it is perfectly acceptable to turn left here, and I had signaled properly. He started honking, flipping me off, rolled down his window to scream at me, and then followed me into the lot, accelerating and yelling. I was terrified. Had my two young children in the car, too. I kept driving, and was just reaching for my phone to call the police when he drove off. It kind of shook me up.

I’ve seen a few other incidents lately in the Junction and I wish all drivers would take a chill pill. It’s getting stressful out there.
