Esheymc, Sounds like you got into the immersion program quickly? Was he on the wait list for the school and then once accepted on the wait list for the program? My fear is that we put Concord at #1 choice and then have to wait to see if we get into the program, passing up another school we’d rather get into. But it also sounds like their regular program is good and then you can try for the immersion program at 1st grade. If you’re already enrolled, seems like that would move you up the list for getting into the immersion program the following year, right?
On a side note, is the idea that Concord is a feeder to Denny then Sealth for their Intl programs? But it can’t be a prerequisite for getting into those programs if this is the only elementary feeder, right? Thanks for educating a soon-to-be newbie to the system!
