I’m in the Alaska Junction and we’ve had a spectacular bird year on our block. My neighbor is a wildlife biologist, Audubon person, and photographer who documented 40 species in April and May, including 5 she’d never seen here before. We have lots of big, old trees, gardens and cover, some feeders and a bit of moving water in some yards. I have a couple of birdbaths- one with a little solar powered fountain- and I’m getting lots of activity. I don’t see cats around outside, thankfully.
