It’s interesting , many years ago the diverted water from the Dalton Sea to help after irrigate crops. It’s was great for farmers, a disaster for the people of the area. Lake is almost gone, killed all fish in lake, business and towns closed up, poverty rampant, and now a plan is being put in place to eventually raise the water level again and help the area become prosperous again. By the way, when I refer to farmers I don’t mean family type farms, these are the large corporate business who sell toned and frozen produce etc. I hate to see Lake Kachees have the same thing happen. Must be a better way.
