AmericanWest Bank food drive, all month long @ AmericanWest Bank
Apr 1 @ 12:00 am – 12:00 am

AmericanWest Bank in West Seattle is holding an annual bank-wide food drive during the entire month of April! We’ll collect food and cash donations at all our locations, but the West Seattle location has teamed up with the West Seattle Food Bank for a great partnership.

Many children, families, elderly and others in our community turn to local food banks for assistance and unfortunately, donations during summer months are dreadfully low. That’s why we choose this time every year to directly assist our neighbors by hosting our food drive.

Area food banks and meal-assistance organizations face bare shelves and near-crisis circumstances during summer months because children are out of school and not receiving lunch at school. This puts even more pressure for families struggling to make ends meet. We’re focusing the drive on kid-friendly food but of course we accept ALL food.

AmericanWest Bank is located at 4022 SW Alaska, near the junction. Come stop by with your donations, or just to say hi and have a cup of coffee!
