BloodworkNW’s Bloodmobile will be at Our Lady Of Guadalupe, at the Walmesley Center on Monday, January 27th from 1:00 pm–7:00 pm, (the bloodmobile will be closed for a break from 3:00-4:00 pm).

Madison MS Parent Education Night

Join two special guest presenters and other Madison families to explore these questions and more at Madison’s second Parent Education Night of the school year. Parent Ed Night will take place on Thursday, January 30th at 6:30pm in the Madison library. Parent educator, Yvonne-Monique (Zick) Aviva will speak about how drugs and alcohol impact the teen brain. Special guest Lisa Davidson, Seattle Public Schools Manager of Prevention and Intervention, will talk about vaping and how to talk to your kids about it.

World Day of the Sick Mass @ Providence Mount St. Vincent

Providence Mount St. Vincent to host World Day of the Sick mass

In the presence of the Most Reverend Alexander J. Brunett, Archbishop Emeritus of Seattle, Reverend James Eblen will lead a special Eucharistic Celebration and Anointing of the Sick for World Day of the Sick on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020, at Providence Mount St. Vincent in West Seattle. The public is invited to attend this event, which begins at 10 a.m. It will be in the Pigott Chapel at Providence Mount St. Vincent, 4831 35th Ave SW.

During the Anointing of the Sick, Reverend Eblen and other priests will individually bless anyone who is poor or sick, bringing the hope and the healing of water from Lourdes to them. Music is provided by The Starry Crowns. Concelebrants include Rev. Abraham Miller, Rev. Matthew Oakland, Rev. Ignatius Ohno, and Rev. Patrick Ritter. Reception will follow.
