Want to learn about a new method for helping children and adults recover from stroke, brain injury, and other limiting conditions?
Join us for a one-night-only screening of an independent documentary, A Life Unbound by Geordie Trifa on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM at Youngstown Cultural Art Center‘s Thelma Dewitty Theater.
After surviving life-altering brain injuries, a former NFL Cheerleader and a young boy find healing through a groundbreaking method that takes their recovery above and beyond the medical system’s prognosis. Speaking with the world’s top Neuroscientists, A Life Unbound explores brain plasticity strategies and the role they can play in revolutionizing the human experience.
This film is for you if:
• You’re interested in brain plasticity strategies for rehabilitation,
• You’re a stroke or brain injury survivor,
• You have a child with neurodevelopmental challenges,
• You are a caregiver, family member, or friend of someone who has such challenges,
• You’re curious to learn more about ABM NeuroMovement.
The film documents the work of Anat Baniel, the founder of Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement®, and features interviews with neuroscientists and neuroplasticity experts, including Dr. Michael Merzenich “the father of neuroplasticity,” Dr. Jill Bolte Taylor author of My Stroke of Insight, Dr. Martha Herbert author of The Autism Revolution, and Dr. Rick Hanson of Buddha’s Brain.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A and discussion with a local ABM NeuroMovement Practitioner based in West Seattle, Paige Clark of Bright Mind Movement.
All proceeds go to the independent filmmaker.
