Seattle premiereA hilarious, exuberant musical that will get you grooving in your seat, Head Over Heels follows a royal family on an outrageous journey to save their beloved kingdom from extinction—only to discover the revolution they need is within their own hearts. From the visionaries who rocked Broadway with Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Avenue Q and Spring Awakening, this bold and fierce new musical comedy—set to the iconic music of the 80s all-female rock band The Go-Go’s, including the hit songs “We Got the Beat,” “Our Lips Are Sealed,”—is a spirited and sexy celebration of love in all its infinite varieties.

“A technicolor category unto itself […] The show is an ode to female independence with the winking spirit of a Shakespearean fairy and the neon edge of a rebellious ‘80s teenager, teaming up to beckon people into the woods.” – Entertainment Weekly

Twelfth Night Productions (TNP) Twelfth Night Production (TNP) is proud to present The Lux Radio Theater version of the classic 1947 film Miracle on 34th Street. TNP’s Holiday Radio plays have become an annual tradition for community members seeking to revel in holiday cheer with friends and family. Previous radio show productions have included It’s a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Carol.
The radio play is based on the holiday movie favorite of the same name and will be presented as a live 1940’s radio broadcast. Miracle on 34th Street tells the timeless story of an old man who calls himself Kris Kringle and is hired as the Macy’s department store Santa. His claim to be the real Santa Claus becomes a court case and a young child’s belief could make all the difference. “Faith is believing when common sense tells you not to.”
Our cast of talented Radio players also includes our incredible Foley (sound effects) actors and the one-of-a-kind 1929 Wurlitzer Pipe Organ.
“If you close your eyes during this production you won’t miss a beat because all of the components – the sound effects, the organ, the commercials, and the Mistletones – work together successfully to recreate the live radio experience of the 1940’s and 50’s.”
This live radio show will be performed at historic Kenyon Hall, one of West Seattle’s favorite venues, December 6, 7, 13 and 14 at 7:30pm and December 8 and 15 at 3:00pm. Bring the family and make this a holiday tradition! Tickets are available online at Brown Paper Tickets, or at Kenyon Hall, 7904 35th Ave. SW, Seattle WA, starting an hour before the show on performance days. Prices are $20 for adults and $18 for students & seniors. http://www.twelfthnightproductions.org/

At Tinkergarten, families meet outdoors to connect and learn through play. In this free trial class, Tinkergarten Leader, Alison Arnote, will facilitate an expert-designed play scenario, allowing children of various ages and needs to explore, problem solve, communicate, collaborate, and create together. Parents and caregivers learn, too, as we share insight into your child’s development.
This trial class is:
- Designed for children ages 18 months-8 years. Child/children are accompanied by an adult. Siblings of any other age are most welcome.
- Limited to the first 15 families who register.
Kids may get a bit messy (Hurrah!), so please send them in clothing that can get dirty.
We start the class at the specified location but may end within a reasonable walk from that location.
This trial class is free.
