CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines are radically changing the future of manufacturing. CNC Technicians use computerized mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses to produce the complex, 3-D structures needed across industry. Our information sessions at the Georgetown Campus allow students to tour the program space and meet their instructor.
Open Houses also give prospective students the opportunity to register for their classes.

You and your fellow volunteers will participate in fun, hands-on conservation work led by staff with DNDA’s Urban Forest Restoration Program. Restoration work includes removing invasive plants, planting native species, and mulching new plantings, depending on the restoration progress in each site. Work parties are often accompanied by live musicians, bringing the arts and nature together for our enjoyment!

An informal, inclusive progressive social group.
Drinking Liberally is an organization with chapters across the country. It gives like-minded, left-leaning individuals a place to talk politics, or whatever. You don’t need to be a policy expert and this isn’t a book club – just come and learn from peers, trade jokes, vent frustration and hang out in an environment where it’s not taboo to talk politics. Consumption of alcohol is not required and our location is all ages.
Dance Time with live music by Lauren Petrie, who plays a wide variety of songs on the keyboard. Live music, friendly people, and some darn good dancers. Dance your heart out or come and enjoy the music. All ages, abilities, and skill levels welcome. First Wednesday of every month. $5 members/$7 nonmembers.

Drinking Liberally West Seattle – Talking Politics
First Tuesday every month, 6 pm. Pizzeria 22 is at College Street and California Ave SW in Admiral.
An informal, inclusive progressive social group.
Drinking Liberally is an organization with chapters across the country. It gives like-minded, left-leaning individuals a place to talk politics, or whatever. You don’t need to be a policy expert and this isn’t a book club – just come and learn from peers, trade jokes, vent frustration and hang out in an environment where it’s not taboo to talk politics. Consumption of alcohol is not required and our location is all ages.
Dance Time with live music by Lauren Petrie, who plays a wide variety of songs on the keyboard. Live music, friendly people, and some darn good dancers. Dance your heart out or come and enjoy the music. All ages, abilities, and skill levels welcome. First Wednesday of every month. $5 members/$7 nonmembers.
No host bar with $3 beer, wine, and cocktails. Join our fun and friendly community of dancers! All ages are welcome to attend, but you must be 21 to buy alcohol.
