The Kathy Kallick Band with Cliff Perry and Laurel Bliss @ Kenyon Hall
Jan 26 @ 7:30 pm

These two ensembles have performed extensively throughout the Northwest, but this collaboration—an all-gospel show— is a first.

Kathy Kallick’s exceptional career includes winning a Grammy and two IBMA Awards, receiving a Lifetime Membership from the California Bluegrass Association, co-founding the internationally-acclaimed Good Ol’ Persons, and collaborating with the country’s top acoustic musicians, including her mighty current band Annie Staninec (fiddle), Greg Booth (dobro, banjo), Tom Bekeny (mandolin), and Cary Black (acoustic bass), all of whom provide sterling harmony vocals.

Cliff Perry and Laurel Bliss began as a singing due more than thirty years ago, and are now recognized as the most important contemporary interpreters of the songs of the Carter Family. Together they formed the heart of Southfork, a legendary Northwest bluegrass band, and they continue to sing with the compelling sincerity of classic country music, playing soulful dobro and guitar that support their powerful vocals.

Please visit kathykallick.com for more information.

Front reserved table seats are $14. Row seating is $12 general and $10 seniors. With a reservation, row seating is only $10 general and $8 seniors. Elementary, middle, and high school students are $5. Pre-school children are free.

We accept cash and checks at the door, and doors open thirty minutes before each show.

To make a reservation, please e-mail kenyonhall@earthlink.net. You’ll receive an e-mail confirming your reservation.

The Revolutionists

By Lauren Gunderson
Directed by Kelly Kitchens

A quartet of fierce women —Playwright Olympe de Gouges, assassin Charlotte Corday, former queen Marie Antoinette, and Haitian rebel Marianne Angelle—lose their heads in this irreverent, girl-powered comedy set during the French Revolution’s Reign of Terror. As this fearless comedy unfolds, The Revolutionists rewrites the book on legacy, art and activism, feminism, compatriots and chosen sisters, and how we go about changing the world.

“…a sassy, hold-on-to-your-seats theatrical adventure…Listen closely, though, and hang on tight. If you do, you’ll be treated to an invigorating and enlightening journey.” —Cincinnati Enquirer

“…in this sparkling work, politics is very, very funny …These are hilarious and lovable women trapped in a history with a somber final act.” — Houston Chronicle
