West Seattle Tool Library–Get Ready for Bike Month

Spring into Bike Month with West Seattle Tool Library‘s free group bicycle repair. In conjunction with DIY Bikes and the West Seattle Fixers Collective we will help you get your bike ready to ride, safe and smooth.

We provide the work stands, tools, tubes, cables and other small parts when available. Bring your bikes and any bigger parts you’ll need to replace.

Lights: A ‘Zine Launch @ Paper Boat Booksellers
May 1 @ 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Pleasure Boat Studios, a West Seattle nonprofit literary press, invites you to celebrate the launch of a new ‘zine–Lights.

The event will feature a short story reading by local writer John Christopher Nelson as well as complimentary wine and nonalcoholic fizzies.

Pleasure Boat Studios is also the publisher of Sugar Mountain, a novel by Alfred Alcorn. Sugar Mountain is the story of a pandemic that started in China.
