Nightfall Orphanage – Garage Haunt Experience
Oct 19 @ 7:30 pm – 10:30 pm

Mr. Black & Easy Street Records Present:
Nightfall Orphanage – Garage Haunt Experience

“Bad Children go to The Bad Place.” This refrain was common many years ago when Nightfall Orphanage still stood. Many in the community thought it was merely an archaic form of discipline for unruly children, until they began to realize…that all the children were bad.

Mr. Black invites you to step back into the Bad Place, a gateway into the phantasmagoric realm of the Dark Reach that exists in the shadows between worlds. The radiant abyss where spectral echoes of what once was, and what should not be, materialize and take shape.

They burned Nightfall Orphanage to the ground years ago…But sometimes evil rises from the ashes, some echoes never really fade, and some shadows never see the light.

7:30 pm – 10:30 pm

October 18, 19, 25, 26, 31 & Nov 1, 2

Admission is free but we will be accepting non-perishable food donations for West Seattle Food Bank.

Nightfall Orphanage may be too scary for younger children. Parental consideration is advised.

Community cleanup with Delridge Grocery Co-op @ Meet at Youngstown Coffee Company
Oct 26 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

There’s a lot of partying that happens when Delridge Grocery volunteers get together, and you can join in on the fun and help spruce up our neighborhood at our Community Adopt-A-Street Trash Pick-Up event on Saturday, October 26.

We’ll be working to beautify Delridge Way SW from SW Juneau St to SW Alaska St. Trash bags, gloves, pickers, and other supplies will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own gloves and bags as well.

This is a great family activity (as well as a great way for middle and high schoolers to get some community service time), and you can participate for as little or as much time as you have to spare.

Meet up at Youngstown Coffee Company starting at 9:30am, and then cleanup will be between 10am and noon. Let us know if you’ll be able to come by adding your name to this Signup Genius event.

Where: Meet at Youngstown Coffee Company,
5214 Delridge Way SW
When: Saturday, October 26, 10 am to 12 pm

Green Seattle Day @ various locations
Nov 2 all-day

Plant a Forest – Grow Community at Green Seattle Day on November 2nd

Help us create a healthier, happier, and greener Seattle by coming out to our biggest planting event of the year – Green Seattle Day! On November 2nd we will be planting the city’s future forest at 17 neighborhood parks. From creating wildlife habitat, to combating climate change, and providing a place for residents to recreate: having a hand in Green Seattle Day is one of the best ways to give back to your neighbors, parks, and your local forest.

All community members are welcome, and no experience is necessary! The event is family friendly and open to all ages. Hundreds of volunteers will plant native trees, shrubs, and groundcovers that will become the future forest of Seattle. We will provide all of the necessary tools and training for the day, along with light refreshments.

We hope that you will lend a hand in the neighborhoods you live in, and volunteer at the park closest to you. Spots do fill up quickly, so please sign up in advance to help us plan a great event. Information and registration links can be found at: https://www.greenseattle.org/get-involved/green-seattle-day/

For any additional questions, please feel free to contact us by email at info@greenseattle.org, and by phone at (206) 905-6924.
