Nightfall Orphanage – Garage Haunt Experience
Oct 18 @ 7:30 pm – 10:30 pm

Mr. Black & Easy Street Records Present:
Nightfall Orphanage – Garage Haunt Experience

“Bad Children go to The Bad Place.” This refrain was common many years ago when Nightfall Orphanage still stood. Many in the community thought it was merely an archaic form of discipline for unruly children, until they began to realize…that all the children were bad.

Mr. Black invites you to step back into the Bad Place, a gateway into the phantasmagoric realm of the Dark Reach that exists in the shadows between worlds. The radiant abyss where spectral echoes of what once was, and what should not be, materialize and take shape.

They burned Nightfall Orphanage to the ground years ago…But sometimes evil rises from the ashes, some echoes never really fade, and some shadows never see the light.

7:30 pm – 10:30 pm

October 18, 19, 25, 26, 31 & Nov 1, 2

Admission is free but we will be accepting non-perishable food donations for West Seattle Food Bank.

Deathsploration Resource and Art Fair @ Camp Long
Nov 2 @ 11:00 am – 5:00 pm

Discover cool art, organizations, local businesses, and how the death and dying community is living in Western Washington. Local organizations, artists, businesses post up at camp long for the day, creating space for you to discover, engage, learn and play. This event will feature prizes, freebies, and amazing humans.

Come for the raffle, stay for the Dance Party!!

Let us know you’re coming.

Let us know if you want to host a table at the fair.

This event is part of Deathsploration month in western Washington.
We’re all gonna die, let’s talk about it, a little.

Deathsploration is a month-long effort to increase conversation about death and dying in Washington. Beginning on October 1 and running through November 2, community organizations and businesses in western Washington will work in partnership to create opportunities for engagement through education, art, dance, movement, death cafés, community outreach, workshops, and more.

In the United States, the topic of death and dying is not commonly paired with living. Deathsploration is an opportunity to reestablish the normalcy of death, a subtle reminder that talking about and preparing for death will not cause one’s death. Similarly, not talking about death will not keep it away. It is our hope that the exploration of death–through all the senses and on our own terms–will help people on the way to a good death.
