The city’s Rec’N The Streets program is offering a free outdoor movie June 25th in the Southwest Teen Life Center parking lot (2801 SW Thistle). It’s billed as “drive-in/walk-in”; bring your own chairs and snacks. The movie will be the original 1984 “Karate Kid” (here’s the trailer). All ages welcome, no RSVP/tickets necessary. The movie’s expected to start around 7:30 pm and runs just over two hours.
Dementia-Friendly Dance with SilverKite. All ages welcome. Registration is required.
Join our interactive workshop to explore dances across the 20th century.
This workshop has been designed and will be facilitated for individuals living with memory loss and their care partners. We welcome other family members and friends of all ages to join us.

West Seattle High School’s Class of 1971 will be holding its 50th reunion on July 17th at the Glen Acres Golf and Country club, starting at 4 pm. There will be appetizers provided with a no-host bar. There is no charge for WSHS ’71 alumni and their guest, and tickets are not required, but it would help immensely to know how many to plan for. Please RSVP to email@example.com and include if you will be bringing a guest.
