Twelfth Night Productions (TNP) Twelfth Night Production (TNP) is proud to present The Lux Radio Theater version of the classic 1947 film Miracle on 34th Street. TNP’s Holiday Radio plays have become an annual tradition for community members seeking to revel in holiday cheer with friends and family. Previous radio show productions have included It’s a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Carol.
The radio play is based on the holiday movie favorite of the same name and will be presented as a live 1940’s radio broadcast. Miracle on 34th Street tells the timeless story of an old man who calls himself Kris Kringle and is hired as the Macy’s department store Santa. His claim to be the real Santa Claus becomes a court case and a young child’s belief could make all the difference. “Faith is believing when common sense tells you not to.”
Our cast of talented Radio players also includes our incredible Foley (sound effects) actors and the one-of-a-kind 1929 Wurlitzer Pipe Organ.
“If you close your eyes during this production you won’t miss a beat because all of the components – the sound effects, the organ, the commercials, and the Mistletones – work together successfully to recreate the live radio experience of the 1940’s and 50’s.”
This live radio show will be performed at historic Kenyon Hall, one of West Seattle’s favorite venues, December 6, 7, 13 and 14 at 7:30pm and December 8 and 15 at 3:00pm. Bring the family and make this a holiday tradition! Tickets are available online at Brown Paper Tickets, or at Kenyon Hall, 7904 35th Ave. SW, Seattle WA, starting an hour before the show on performance days. Prices are $20 for adults and $18 for students & seniors. http://www.twelfthnightproductions.org/

CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines are radically changing the future of manufacturing. CNC Technicians use computerized mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses to produce the complex, 3-D structures needed across industry. Our information sessions at the Georgetown Campus allow students to tour the program space and meet their instructor.
Open Houses also give prospective students the opportunity to register for their classes.
Sessions are held at South’s Georgetown Campus in Building A, Room 122. Parking permits will be available. Learn more about the CNC Machining program.

At Tilden School (WSB sponsor):
Saturday, November 2, 10 am to noon
Monday, January 13, 6:30 to 8 pm
We invite interested families to our first open house of the school year; tour the classrooms, and chat with the teachers and specialists who make Tilden extraordinary.
Location: Tilden School
4105 California Ave SW
On the corner of California and Dakota, we are located in (but not affiliated with) the First Lutheran Church of West Seattle – their back door is our front door!
Enter on west side of building, across from the south end of the parking lot.
At Tinkergarten, families meet outdoors to connect and learn through play. In this free trial class, Tinkergarten Leader, Alison Arnote, will facilitate an expert-designed play scenario, allowing children of various ages and needs to explore, problem solve, communicate, collaborate, and create together. Parents and caregivers learn, too, as we share insight into your child’s development.
This trial class is:
- Designed for children ages 18 months-8 years. Child/children are accompanied by an adult. Siblings of any other age are most welcome.
- Limited to the first 15 families who register.
Kids may get a bit messy (Hurrah!), so please send them in clothing that can get dirty.
We start the class at the specified location but may end within a reasonable walk from that location.
This trial class is free.
Sign up at https://tinkergarten.com/classes/90855.
Visit https://tinkergarten.com/classes for more times and locations.
Make sure to add the Preschool Open House to your calendar!
Most preschools begin to register students for the coming fall at this time, so it’s never too early to do your research. Bring your child(ren) and watch them explore and play in the fun environment that will become like a second home to them. Teachers will be on hand to answer questions and talk about our play-based approach to learning and building a strong foundation for your little one to grow.
Refreshments will be provided. Please call the school office at 935-8500 or emailadmissions@hopeseattle.org for more information. Check out our latest video about Hope School!
