Youth ages 10+ and their families are invited to join WTA for a fun day volunteering to improve the trails in Schmitz Preserve Park! This beautiful park is in need of general maintenance such as cutting back overgrown vegetation and fixing up muddy areas with digging. It also needs several structures repaired, replaced, or newly installed. First up is building a turnpike about 120′ long through a muddy area. Youth participants 14-18 may attend on their own; ages 10-13 must be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers earn up to 8 service hours for each day of volunteering.
