Not WS, but Meanders posted on FB that they’ll be open Thanksgiving morning for breakfast and then doing some sort of potluck type dinner thing in the late afternoon.

I was just going to say the same thing as ghar72. This is the quote of what Meanders wrote with times/details:
“So the holidays are upon us…
We’ve done different things different years, based on what the crew and I and our families are up to.
This year, the regular Thursday crew and I talked it over, and we’ve decided together that we will be open 8am to 12pm Thanksgiving Day. That will let folks on the crew get home in time to spend time with their families, and will also let y’all come in and get some breakfast if your kitchens happen to be overrun with pie and stuffing fixin’s.
In addition to that, I will be hosting a Thanksgiving potluck at the shop, opening the doors around 4pm. It’s open to the public, no charge, and no one will be turned away for lack of a dish. Think of it as a big ol’ dinner party, but with an industrial dishwasher to make life easier. You’re invited, and so are you and you and you.
If you have extra, feel free to bring it. I figure some folks won’t have much, and I was thinking this would be a good time to share.”

Thanks – WSB team member Katie Meyer has been making the phone calls again this year (she is still waiting for callbacks from a significant number, but we didn’t want to wait any longer to point people to what we DO know) and I don’t know that Meander’s was on our list, since it’s difficult enough to get through 100 restaurants in West Seattle; we’ll add. – TR

Had fun at the Poggi last night. Thanks to those who opened!
