West Seattle Meaningful Movies presents three videos on the climate emergency:

  • Al Gore on climate change—the facts and hope
  • Thinking about and discussing the climate emergency
  • A shining example of a carbon-negative country

These three short videos highlight (1) the detrimental effects of climate change and some inspiring positive trends (as described by Al Gore); (2) how we think about, discuss, and act on the climate emergency; and (3) a carbon-negative country with a unique and positive mindset–one that guides them in many aspects of their daily life, including their handling of the climate emergency.

This even runs approximately 50 minutes.

6:30–doors open for refreshments.

7:00–movie screening begins and is followed by optional facilitated discussion.

This event is free of charge, but donations are gratefully received.

(Highpoint Neighborhood House is accessible from the 21 and 128 bus routes.)
