West Seattle Garden tour proudly announces a music benefit at C & P
Coffee Company
(WSB sponsor) on Sunday, May 31, 3:00–5:00 pm.

Alan Ehrlich and Shari Kruse will entertain West Seattleites with an afternoon of incredible music while raising funds for the WSGT 2015 beneficiaries, which include West Seattle organizations West Seattle Farmer’s Market, Southwest Seattle Historical Society, Seattle Chinese Garden Society and ArtsWest, among others.

Shari Kruse and her group Swayed Boots is a family band, originally comprised of Shari and her sister Wendy Meyers. The group will perform vocals and guitar, and will include Shari’s daughter Eve on vocals, as well as Wendy’s son Charlie on bass. They will swing the audience with many favorite standards.

Using a clever sense of humor and thoughtful insights, Alan Ehrlich’s original songs provide audiences the opportunity to laugh at and to think seriously about what is going on in the world around them. By telling tales of ordinary people trying to live their lives and struggling to overcome adversity, he creates perceptive images of modern day life. Accompanying himself on acoustic finger picked guitar, his eclectic style incorporates country, folk, blues, swing, bluegrass, reggae and western swing.

Suggested donation is $10.00 for this fun afternoon of musical entertainment.

Now in its 21st year, West Seattle Garden Tour is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that proudly donates all net proceeds to support Seattle-based community gardens and other non-profits that promote horticulture, education or the arts. WSGT is a non-profit organized under section 501 (c) (3), and annually donates $20,000-25,000 to the local community. A complete list of 2015
beneficiaries and more information about each of them can be found at
