The second West Seattle Ecology Fair will be Saturday, Sept. 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Walmesley Center at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 7000 35th Ave. SW.
Jeff Renner, retired chief meteorologist for KING5-TV, will present a talk at noon on the impact that climate change and other environmental issues are likely to have globally and in the Pacific Northwest, and what he believes we are called to do in response.
Exhibitors will include A Cleaner Alki, the Duwamish River Cleanup Coalition, Plant Amnesty, the Climate Reality Project, and Wolf Haven International.
The EcoFair is presented by the Care for Creation Ministry of Holy Rosary and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic parishes, with assistance from Peace Lutheran Church and other congregations. It is open and free to the public.
