— WSCO’s Symphony Orchestra will be presenting a concert Friday, March 9, 7:30 p.m. in the Chief Sealth IHS Auditorium:

Fate! Love! Destiny!

We are pleased to present our first concert of the spring season, an evening of Fate! Love! and Destiny! featuring soloist Vijay Chalasani playing Max Bruch’s Romanze for Viola and Orchestra. Mr. Chalasani is a Seattle-based performer, scholar, and teaching artist whose warm tone and generous spirit are an excellent match for this piece.

The program also includes Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture, the overture for Verdi’s La Forza del Destino, and Eric Whitacre’s Lux Aurumque, a choral piece arranged for orchestra.

The concert is FREE! Donations are gratefully appreciated. They help enable student musicians’ participation in this and our other orchestras and classes at no charge.

More info at www.WSCOrchestras.org.

Please join us Friday, March 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the Chief Sealth High School Performing Arts Auditorium, 2600 SW Thistle Street. Reception to follow.

We look forward to seeing you!
