Many people today have fears around memory loss, for themselves and/or their loved ones. But what is the experience actually like? In this beautifully produced film from the Gathering Place at the Greenwood Senior Center, you’ll hear people from the Seattle area talk about their experience and the resilience needed to navigate their hanging circumstances and limitations.

Carin Mack, social worker from the Greenwood Senior Center’s nationally recognized memory loss program, will facilitate a post-film discussion and examine the social stigma surrounding memory loss, discuss resources in our area and answer your questions.

Presented in partnership with the Greenwood Senior Center and in collaboration with the King County Library System.

We can provide accommodations for people with disabilities at Library events. Please contact leap@spl.org at least seven days before the event to request accommodations. Captions are available for all recorded Library programs.
