Writing Fiction – Creating Settings with Silver Kite. All ages welcome. Registration is required.

Register on the Silver Kite website.
Please enter ‘SPL2020‘ to access the website.

Fictional characters live or spend their time in places that shape them, reflect and influence who they are, and support and move the plot along. We’ll explore the role of setting in fiction by looking at some published examples, and doing writing exercises to explore the way settings can anchor and develop our stories.

Supplies needed: paper, pen or pencil.

Facilitated by Pearl Klein.

We can provide accommodations for people with disabilities at Library events. Please contact leap@spl.org at least seven days before the event to request accommodations.
