Come one and all to celebrate Confucius Institute Day 2015 with a performance of Chinese acrobatics, dance, and traditional Sichuan face changing on Wednesday, September 23, at 7 pm. This 25-member troupe from Seattle’s sister city in China, Chongqing, will perform only in Seattle and San Francisco.

Sponsors are the Seattle-Chongqing Sister City Association and the Confucius Institute of the State of Washington.

Performances include: dance performanes “The King of Qin Reviewing the Troops,” “Swan Goose,” “Bamboo Branch Song,” “Girls Playing Water,” Pipa and Erheen Solo “Dreaming of Wushan,” Acrobatic shows entitled “Strength” and “Take the Seat”; and Chuan Opera “Pi Jin Rolling Light,” “Shoot Eagles” and “Face Off.”

Time: 7:00 pm Wednesday, September 23rd, 2015
Come by at 6:00 to see an exhibition of Chinese arts and crafts and enjoy some Chinese refreshments.
