Parents, toddlers, and preschool classes are invited to the forest for a day of learning and tree planting with Nature Consortium. Toddler Tree Planting is a great opportunity to expose children to the natural world and experience the joys of giving back to nature. We will be providing the necessary tools and trees for an enjoyable and successful planting, as well as a brief lesson about the forest.

Available Dates: 10 am-12 pm on February 14, 2014

Location: Pigeon Point Park in West Seattle (map).

Agenda: Anticipate a 15-30 minute introduction to the forest and the planting process. Concluding introductions, we’ll transition to the forest to plant for 45 minutes to an hour. After planting, we’ll have a Forest Boogie dance party with live music.

Transportation: Schools and parents/guardians will be responsible for transporting their little ones to the park.

Cost: To help offset the cost of trees, supplies, and preparation, we ask a small fee of $15 per child
