Seattle’s South Park Ginger Beer darlings celebrate with a limited
release launch, whole hog roast, oysters from friends at Hama Hama,
music, and oh, so much more!

June 5th will mark five years of tall-boy and tap-ginger
love that South Park brewers Kara Patt and Kyle McKnight have
cultivated, one account at a time. Served at Farmer’s Markets around
the Puget Sound and some of Washington’s best establishments, Timber
City is growing their footprint after five years.

“We love any excuse to have a party and five years definitely merits!”
Kara said. “The celebration will bring together all the good people
that have been supportive over the years. We hold a pretty tight
relationship with our vendors, and this event gives us a chance to
celebrate–with neither of us on the clock.” A delicious selection of
sides and a whole hog will be roasted by the Girls Gone BBQ crew and
Timber City Ginger, and raw and grilled oysters from friends at Hama
Hama Oyster Farm. Highly anticipated summer flavors will also be
released.

They share the brewery with friends at Lowercase Brewing who will also
be on tap. Be sure to catch a peak of their new koji house while
visiting. The koji is used in Timber City’s adult beverages, the South
Sound Pounder (5% abv) and their Imperial Ginger Beer (7% abv).

Reservations in advance through Eventbrite, and food and drink tickets
for sale at the door. Each ticket is $6 and will work with the different
vendors throughout the party. First come, first serve until capacity
is reached. Children and well behaved four legged friends are welcome.

ABOUT TIMBER CITY GINGER BEER

Washington and its undeniable bounty inspired local kids Kara Patt and
Kyle McKnight, founders of Timber City Ginger Beer of Seattle’s South
Park neighborhood. Timber City’s original brew recipe is brimming with
fresh ginger, lemon juice, cane sugar, sage, and thyme. They also produce
a fermented ginger beer–utilizing sake yeast and koji for
fermentation–keeping products gluten free. Timber City has
their flagship Imperial Ginger, and seasonal, sessionable South Sound
Pounder flavors, including but not limited to, local apples, fir tips,
peaches, strawberries, and pears. Timber City is self-distributed. For
