Fourth-generation West Seattleite Teresa K. Miller will read from her National Poetry Series–winning collection, Borderline Fortune, at Paper Boat Booksellers on Wednesday, June 1, at 6:30 p.m.

Since being featured on West Seattle Blog in October 2021, Miller has appeared on NPR’s Bookworm and received a favorable review in Publishers Weekly. Her co-reader, fellow National Poetry Series winner Amanda Moore, will read from her debut collection, Requeening, which was featured in O: The Oprah Magazine. Miller and Moore will also appear together on a panel titled “Inheriting the Earth: West Coast Poets on What Gets Passed Down” at Orcas Island Lit Fest on Saturday, June 4, with Seattle poets Bill Carty and Michael Schmeltzer.

Thanks so much, Sallie! Thanks also to Paper Boat for hosting us for its first in-store event in more than two years and to WSB for spreading the word.
