City of Seattle Invites Public to Attend Summer Food Celebration Event on July 17

The City of Seattle invites community members to attend the Summer Food Celebration, a family-friendly event highlighting the Seattle Summer Meals Program (officially the Summer Food Service Program).

This free event will include free food, activities, games, resources for families, and information on how children and teens ages 1-18 can access summer meals at 50 locations across the city.

Community partners and staff from the Seattle Human Services Department (HSD), Seattle Parks & Recreation (SPR) and United Way of King County will be onsite to answer questions about the Summer Meals Program.
