Led by Judy McCay and Karen Griffith of Compassion and Choices of WA, coordinated by Rev. Peg Morgan. During the first hour, learn about the Death With Dignity law passed in 2008. A brief history of aid-in-dying, who can access WA State’s law and how it is works will also be covered. The second hour will offer hands-on seminar about preparing your end-of-life documents. You can leave with a completed Advance Directive, which combines a Living Will and a Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care into one document. A notary will be present to notarize your documents. Also learn about People’s Memorial Cooperative.
