Most of our trees are near the end of their natural lives. Seattle’s trees are inundated with invasive plants, including English ivy, Himalayan blackberry, Scot’s broom and knotweed. Invasive plants have choked out the seedlings that would replace today’s forest. English ivy also climbs up into the canopy causing trees to topple in high winds. Join us the third Saturday of the month to help restore our Camp Long forest.

What to Bring
Please bring a filled water bottle to the event. Remember to dress in clothing that is weather appropriate and okay to get dirty. Don’t forget your rain-gear! Extra food or lunch to eat.
