The RecTech Youth Media Institute is in its fifth year at its Delridge Community Center, West Seattle, location. The YMI gives low-income teens paid on-the-job-training for eight weeks in the summer, and once a week after school during the school year. This summer, RecTech YMI coordinator Les Howle and RecTech Multi-media Instructor Todd Vandemark worked with SIFF Futurewave’s Arianne Garden Vasquez and ten talented teens to produce this short film. Our teen interns are looking forward to being interviewed about their work and this program.
