Details from the news release:
Spiritually precise thinking and positive outcomes
International speaker to discuss how spiritual insight overturns flawed assumptions and brings lasting solutions to life’s problemsWHY: Assumptions, spoken and unspoken, drive the majority of public and private and dialogue today. But what happens if we never question our assumptions—and later we discover they’re flawed? Kevin Graunke [GRON-key], an international speaker coming to this area, says that through the logic of spiritual insight, we can challenge assumptions and make a lasting difference in our world today.
WHAT: In Graunke’s talk, “Losing Assumptions, Gaining Precision,” he points out that this is the kind of spiritually precise outlook exemplified by Jesus Christ, who said, “Be honest in your judgment and do not decide at a glance (superficially and by appearances); but judge fairly and righteously” (see John 7:24).
Graunke will draw on ideas from the Bible and from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, a book that describes how to find health, safety and confidence through spiritual understanding and logical, inspired reasoning.
In this talk the audience will hear and discuss ideas on:
• Why trusting in the inevitability of God’s goodness is a quality that belongs to everyone, and…
• How spiritual reasoning is actually a mental springboard, and gives us all we need to overturn all flawed assumptions and become healers, restorers and peacemakers.WHEN: Sunday, February 10th at 2:30 P.M.
