Westside Interfaith Network, also known as the WIN Group of churches, invites you to attend a public forum with the candidates for City Council’s Districts 1, 8, and 9 on Tuesday, Oct. 6th:

CITY COUNCIL DISTRICTS 1, 8 & 9 CANDIDATES’ FORUM
6:30-8 PM on Tuesday, October 6th
at Fauntleroy Church UCC

All six candidates, two candidates for each of the three positions, are planning to participate in the Forum. You are invited to meet all 6 candidates, learn their views and plans for our area–and be a more informed voter!

This is the first election whereby City Council people are chosen by geographic district. West Seattle is in District 1; plus we vote for two “at large” positions: Districts 8 & 9.

6 pm – Doors open. Campaign literature available. Informal conversation.
6:30 – Brief welcome & introduction. Moderated forum: District 1.
6:50 – Moderated forum: District 8 and 9.
7:30 – Moderated forum: questions from the audience addressed to all 6 candidates.
8:00 – Informal conversation with candidates.
