It’s more like a community resource fair, kids’ carnival, free food, type of event … Come meet local police, and reps from community organizations. WSB will be there too.

Saturday, August 17th from 1-4 pm at the SW Precinct:

Picnics at the Precincts provide an opportunity for each precinct’s surrounding neighborhoods to come together and enjoy an afternoon of celebration with the officers that protect their families and businesses. Businesses financially support the event through donations and community groups assist in the planning and execution of each picnic. Join us for a day of food, music, and an opportunity to learn about and interact with many of the SPD’s specialty units like: K-9, Mounted Patrol, Bomb Squad, and SWAT. We hope to see you there!
