It’s the third annual photography workshop led by Ray Pfortner of Vashon Island. If you love photography, have any digital camera, and enjoy capturing images of
nature and unusual architecture … this summer 2013 workshop is for you!

• Improve your camera handling and composition skills.
• Share the results of your shooting for in-class and online critiques.
• Early morning and evening sessions to capture the garden under a crescent moon.
• Be part of a juried show at the Garden this fall; learn about framing and pricing.

Ray Pfortner is an educator and professional photographer whose work focuses on nature, landscapes, environmental issues, and gardens, especially Asian gardens. He teaches workshops in partnership with colleges, art centers, artist stores, and organizations regionally and

Tuition: $220 for Garden members, $260 for nonmembers, plus $20 materials fee
