Providence ElderPlace West Seattle will host “Portraits of Providence ElderPlace,” an exhibit of black and white photographs of its participants, caregivers and volunteers.

An open house for the community will be held 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Oct. 18, 2018, at Providence Mount St. Vincent, 4831 35th Ave. SW Seattle. The public is invited to browse the artwork and hear photographer Terry Rogers, M.D., explain his inspiration for the silhouettes. Rogers previously served as medical director for Providence ElderPlace. Celebrate the beauty of aging, network with senior health care providers, and enjoy appetizers, wine, and a raffle drawing.

Guests are also invited to tour the Providence ElderPlace geriatric clinic/adult day health center. Parking is available in the parking lot or on residential streets surrounding Providence Mount St. Vincent.

Providence ElderPlace West Seattle is a stand-alone program housed at Providence Mount St. Vincent assisted living and skilled nursing home. It offers West and South Seattle residents an innovative program that provides medical care and social services to seniors who wish to continue to live in the community, thus avoiding or minimizing stays in hospitals and nursing homes.
